How do we use your email address?

By submitting your email address on this platform, you agree to receive our emails. You can opt out of any of these email lists at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or other opt-out option included in the respective email. We only send emails to individuals who have authorized us to contact them, either directly or through a third party. We do not send unsolicited commercial emails because we hate spam as much as you do. By submitting your email address, you also agree to allow us to use your email address for customer audience targeting on sites like Facebook, where we display personalized advertising to specific individuals who have opted to receive our communications. Email addresses submitted solely through the order processing page will be used for the sole purpose of sending you information and updates related to your order. However, if you have provided us with the same email address through another method, we may use it for any of the purposes set forth in this Policy. Note: If at any time you wish to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

How long do we retain your information?

Could my information be transferred to other countries?

Maakov is incorporated in Mexico. The information collected through our website, through direct interactions with you, or through the use of our support services may be transferred from time to time to our offices or personnel, or to third parties, located anywhere in the world, and may be viewed and hosted anywhere in the world, including countries that may not have general applicable laws governing the use and transfer of such data. To the extent permitted by applicable law, by using any of the above, you voluntarily agree to the cross-border transfer and hosting of such information.

Is the information collected through the Maakov Service secure?

We take precautions to protect the security of your information. We have physical, electronic, and administrative procedures in place to help safeguard, prevent unauthorized access, maintain data security, and use your information correctly. However, neither individuals nor security systems are foolproof, including encryption systems. Additionally, people may commit intentional crimes, make mistakes, or fail to follow policies. Customers have the right to request restriction of certain uses and disclosures of personal identifying information as follows. You may contact us to (1) update or correct your personal identifying information, (2) change your preferences regarding communications and other information you receive from us, or (3) delete the personal identifying information held about you in our system by canceling your account. Such updates, corrections, changes, and deletions will not have any effect on other information we maintain or information we have provided to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy prior to such update, correction, change, or deletion. To protect your privacy and security, we may take reasonable steps (such as requesting a unique password) to verify your identity before granting you access to your profile or making corrections. Please note that it is technologically not possible to remove every single record of the information you have provided to us from our system. Such updates, corrections, changes, and deletions will have no effect on other information we hold or information we have provided to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy prior to such update, correction, change, or deletion.

Business Sale

Individual Rights of Data Subjects: Access, Portability, and Data Erasure

We are committed to helping our customers meet the requirements of data subjects' rights under GDPR. Maakov processes or stores all personal data in providers that comply with Data Protection Agreements (DPA) and have been thoroughly reviewed. We store all conversations and personal data for a maximum of 6 years unless your account is deleted. In which case, we delete all data in accordance with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy but will not retain them for more than 60 days.

We are aware that if you work with EU clients, you must be able to provide them with the ability to access, update, retrieve, and delete personal data. We have been set up as self-service from the start and have always given you access to your data and your customers' data.
